Get Involved

There are various ways you can become involved with SEED. We encourage you to join a SEED chapter near you, host an “Over for Dinner and Off to School,” sponsor a student or make a donation. We also welcome feedback, questions and suggestions.

“We are not in a position in which we have nothing to work with. We all have capacities, talents, direction, missions, callings.” – Abraham H. Maslow

Provide an educational scholarship for a child overseas
85 to 150 dollars per year can empower a child and change her or his world

· Allows for critical understanding of the world, development of cognitive processes, community support, role models, health care, food, and counselling. A method of empowering students overseas to change their own conditions.

· 100% of the money reaches the child; there are no administrative deductions from the scholarship donations.

· Scholarships are managed and distributed by local overseas partners. Over 45 students in Zambia have received scholarships, and two schools in Kenya have benefited from donations.

Organize a fundraiser and donate proceeds to SEED
SEED must fundraise overhead costs to support organizational activities

Chapters execute fundraising events; Private parties are also encouraged to donate profits from their own fundraisers e.g. Biking Across Canada for SEED

Events include: concerts, making and selling t-shirts, silent auction, collaboration with other fundraisers, semi-formal party, corporate support, and much more
